Rockstar Games has confirmed November 19, 2026 as the console release date for Grand Theft Auto VI on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The company has not announced a PC release date. See the official Rockstar Newswire announcement.
However, a recent report from RockstarINTEL suggests that a PC version of Grand Theft Auto VI could arrive by March 2027 [1]. According to RockstarINTEL, this information comes from various sources reportedly familiar with the PC development of the game [1]. It is important to note that this reported timeframe for a PC release has not been officially confirmed by Rockstar Games or its parent company, Take-Two Interactive [1].
Historically, Rockstar Games titles, including previous Grand Theft Auto installments, have often seen a staggered release, launching on consoles first before a subsequent release on PC. The RockstarINTEL report, while providing a potential timeframe for a PC launch, does not offer any specific technical details regarding the PC version's architecture, features, or system requirements [1]. As of now, Rockstar Games has not provided any official technical specifications or development updates for a PC iteration of Grand Theft Auto VI [1]. Any discussion of specific PC features or technical implementations remains speculative without official confirmation.
