The promotion is tied to a Twitch account link and does not require a Twitch Prime subscription, making it accessible to all eligible players.
The Grotti Turismo Omaggio is classified as a supercar, and the Rockstar Motorsport livery can be applied to any vehicle in the player’s garage.
The free Grotti Turismo Omaggio will appear in the player’s vehicle selection once claimed, and it can be customized with the Rockstar Motorsport livery.
Rockstar has announced that the drops will be distributed automatically to linked accounts during the specified dates, eliminating the need for manual redemption codes.
This limited‑time event exemplifies Rockstar’s cross‑platform marketing approach, leveraging Twitch viewership to distribute exclusive cosmetic items without impacting game balance.
Players must claim the drops through the Twitch interface and then redeem the items in GTA Online’s inventory, after which the content remains permanently in their collection.
The partnership underscores the growing integration of live‑stream platforms into video game economies, a trend Rockstar has been expanding since 2024.
Because the items are purely cosmetic, they do not affect race performance, handling, or any other gameplay metric.
The promotion also serves as a teaser for upcoming in‑game events, as Rockstar often aligns Twitch drops with broader seasonal updates.
